The Patrick County Rivers and Trails Group (PCRTG) is a group of Patrick County residents, some of which are members of the Dan River Basin Association(DRBA). This group advocates for the protection of our natural resources and enhancement of outdoor recreation opportunities in Patrick County.
DRBA is a non-profit working to preserve the natural and cultural resources of the Dan River Basin through education, recreation and conservation. Counties in the Dan River Basin have River & Trail Groups made up citizens who wish to help DRBA further their mission.
PCRTG participates in volunteer activities like trail maintenance & river clean-up events. Currently, we are working to develop a Recreational Use Plan for Patrick. This is aimed at increasing the accessibility of the many recreational & cultural amenities our county has to offer.
